Doormud will be down prolly most the weekend, I am reinstalling the os on that pc....starting from scratch.

If it was fully avoidable why was it done? Its not like majormud where we can just turn on megamud and let it run for a day or two to get us back to where we were. Doormud was alot of hours of hand-playing, especially for ray who was level 18 or something. Its going to really suck bringing our characters back up to par, let alone waiting forever to do all the quests since well all pretty much be the same level.

yeah seriously. it took me like a week or 2 to get to level 15 but i spent a lot of time sitting there waiting for you know who to regen so I can use my MF more efficiently. but noooo ... now all that's gone.

wait... it was reset? why? even if you're re-installing the OS... just pop your doormud files on a floppy and put them back after the re-install... game would resume as normal.
