I have a dyndns.org that a firend of mine is going to let me borrows for a little while to start my bbs with. I cannot get my computer to set up properly to register that dyndns setting. If anyone can walk me thru the process of setting it up on a bbs that is already running off internal ip address of the network its attached to would be greatly appreciated. I ran the wizard and put the dybdbs,ord in it and didnt know if I had to set it else where in maybe my network settings also.

you make the dyndns point to your host , not the host to it . best is if you have static ip . or atleast don't reboot often with dsl or cable. have your friend sent your IP into the tables for the dyndns. all the dyndns will do is route its hostname(blah)dyndns.org to (ip) yours. you won't need to set the dyndns.org host anywheres on your computer.
