Nobody edits anything anymore...they depend on you to do it all for them nowadays ;)

What you got is all the info I was ever able to come up with (plus some) and I don't feel like contributing anymore to the mmb community, so someone else is gonna have to get off their asses and help do something.

KiX is good at that.

And MrBlack..whatever man..you got real shady lately, maybe thats why no one likes you anymore. I was about to hit you up and ask how the bbs was comming along, and make over for that shit that happened a while back. Fuck it now, after what you just said I couldn't give two squirts of piss what you think or how you're doing.

Syntax - if I could open up a hex editor and look at a file and have the slightest clue what it meant, I'd help you. Hell, I'd be more than willing to help. The best people I know at doing this are KiX and War Hawk. I think The Ghost (Abyssyml) may also know a little. As far as everyone else, no one besides those 3 that I know even have a hex editor on their machine, let alone use it. I used to have hexworkshop, don't know where it is now though.

heh, i can wiz my way through hex code, assembly code, and even assembly debugging programs, but this doesn't require that.

this info can be aquired by looking at other rooms that use those exit types. for example, the spell exit type; find a few rooms that have an exit set as exit type "spell" and see what it has in the parameters. figure out what means what and make sure it consistant with other rooms with that exit type. i'm sure a lot of these are correct already so it actually should go smoothly.

nod, it also needs to be reworded slightly:

--[spell]

1. Spell to open

2. Type of spell exit-

a. Open

b. Closed

c. Passthrough

d. Permanent Open

e. One Time Closed

3. Message Block

4. Spell to close

should be...

--[spell]

para 1) Spell to open

para 2) Type of spell exit-

1 = Open

2 = Closed

3 = Passthrough

4 = Permanent Open

5 = One Time Closed

para 3) Message Block

para 4) Spell to close

... i didn't know this was your making MrBlack, I'll add some credits to it (also of course for the person that adds to it/fixes it). i thought it was just something someone dug up from somewhere.

Ok..so you see how you have the exit type, then parameter numbers 1-4, right? What's the a, b, c, d, etc after it? Like..can you put a:yadda yadda or b:yadda yadda, or? Heh, if I'm giving you a headache lemme know, lol..just curious:)

that's why i said it needs to be reworded. using the spell exit type as an example again, the a, b, c, d, e was trying to say in para 2 you would enter:

1(a) for Open

2(b) for Closed

3(c) for Passthrough

4(d) for Permanent Open

5(e) for One Time Closed

... i don't know why letters were chosen to use over numbers. i don't know what open, close, passthrough, permanent open, one time closed really mean though in a spell exit type, so a little more description should be added whenever it's figured out.
