I was hoping for some crits, kind of funny, they're usually lower than my regular hits. bodyguards are still kind of tough for me, if they get an all-out, its lights out for me...heh

Helmut is a stout, moderately built Goblin Rogue with short dark brown hair and

pale blue eyes. He moves very swiftly, and is quite unfriendly and aloof.

Helmut appears to be intelligent and seems a little naive. He is unwounded.

He is equipped with:

hard leather gauntlets (Hands)

hard leather helm (Head)

rigid leather armour (Torso)

hardened leather boots (Feet)

rigid leather pants (Legs)

shortsword (Weapon Hand)

Helmut is looking at you.

Thats like way old school. Wasn't there a way to check if you actually were sneaking in that version, like you could jump on yourself?

Rogues are good for the nostalgia value but thats about it... all in all they werent a very good class, thats why the were taken out :P

It would be cool if you can get the rogue questor tho (blackened saber? something like that. been way too long). you'll be the first person to have had one in years and years... :)

yeah the rogue was pretty much for the nostalgia value. In fact, thats basically what the whole realm is for. I can't handle charts where exp needed for each level is double the previous level, ugh :) 275k for level 10 with a 155% chart ;)

whos the sysop of the board? any chance they're willing to try editing exp tables or anything? (again, hopefully the lance j. neuman editor would work on those old data files...)

i would hardcore play that if the exp was lower, would love to max out at level 20 (hahaha) and solo the hardest monster in the game, Thragg (hahaha again)
