Ok...I am sure everyone knows MissThang and myself..but here is our situation.



I am 22 in April, she is 19 in April. We have a 2 year old Daughter. I work 60+ hrs/week right now, and in fall I can easily work 80-100hrs/week between 2 jobs, commute is DOUBLE.



Both are LOW paying jobs($7.33 and $8.00)



My girlfriend has a bad back, thats why she isn't working.(Even though she does cartwheels at the theater..??)



She WONT work, go to college, even do stuff around the house. She does Laundry, but only washes and dries them..doesn't put them away.



I have to...clean up after Hayley, dishes, trash, drive her wherever she NEEDS to go, she WONT get her liscence, even practice for it.



I come home from working 17hrs one day, and the FIRST thing out of her mouth, "Oh, you need to do the dishes, the sink is full."



I AM GETTING FUCKING PISSED.



How am I to study for ANY computer certs if I have NO FUCKING TIME. ANYONE, TELL ME. HOW is our situation supposed to improve?



Me = Working A LOT, does chores around the house...getting tired and pissed off.



Erin = Does laundry, SITS ON HER ASS ALL DAY LONG.(yes, she watches Hayley, its not that hard honestly. Hayley takes naps, Hayley will sit through a cartoon..she has TIME TO FUCKING DO SOMETHING.)



I am just getting so fucking mad because I feel I am doing 99.9% of the work. I PAY FOR EVERYTHING.



We live at her parents house...they are gone for a little over a week. SHE IS HAVING A FUCKING PARTY. Guys(I trust mind you), over all the time..having fun. I come home and I still have to do the fucking dishes.



I CANT WORK 50-100hrs/week FOR THE REST OF MY FUCKING LIFE. She needs to get OFF her ass, and get a job.



1) So I can study/go to college, IMPROVE THE INCOME.

2) SO I CAN FUCKING SEE MY DAUGHTER MORE.

3) SO I AM NOT SO FUCKING TIRED ALL THE TIME.(Yes..I fall asleep at both jobs.)

4) SO I JUST HAVE A FUCKING LIFE.





Ok..you might think I am unhappy...I am not unhappy, just FUCKING UPSET.



I cant leave. If I leave...

1) I will see Hayley LESS

2) Have to work MORE because now I have to still pay for Hayley, and now I will have to pay more rent somewhere else.

3) She still wont get a job.

I can understand about having a bad back,Ive got a bad one too but when the parents call me to the house to help them remove trees from their lot or pick up heavy boxes i do (tho I do bitch at times). Seeing how your posting here, it seems like youve gone past the limit of talking. Maybe you can try this...



Just dont clean up what she expects you to cleanup!

A friend of mine tried that with his wife and after a few days, she came to her senses and realized that he wasnt doing anymore cleaning and she didnt want her son to play in the trash on the ground etc.

Talking it out would probably be the best idea. I don't think having a bad back makes it impossible for her to work. I know many people with slipped disks, etc that still work. Besides, she could go work at a convenience store or some place that doesn't require a lot of physical activity. If she can't do the damn dishes, you need to tell her to start buying paper/plastic plates/utensils cuz working as much as you say you do is insane. I'd have to tell her to get off her lazy ass and get to work if she doesn't want to handle the domestic jobs. Relationships are about teamwork and compromise.

Ok...for the past year..I have brought it up every once in a while..I am at the point now...for the past 3 days, EVERY day I brought it up. She isn't listening to me.



If I dont clean, nothing gets done..I have tried that. Our room is filthy.



I have even tried to make deals..she makes me breakfest every morning, I will pay to get her nails done every 2 weeks. It worked for a while...recently, for the past month...she says she has done 2 weeks worth(14 days) so I need to get her nails done.



I even offered her $10/week to clean up. $40/mo...just to clean up. SHE IS TO LAZY.



Ya know what though? She IS going to read this..and I am going to get into trouble....but ya know what? I DONT CARE..ERIN ;P
