[HP=214]:set statline full

[HP=214]:set palette 0

You will now use colour palette number 0.

[HP=214]:set talk fast

Anything you type which is not recognized will be sent to the room.

[HP=214]:set warning on

You will now be warned and stopped from doing most evil actions.

[HP=214]:set interrupt on

PVP Combat will now interrupt your typing and output.

[HP=214]:All messages will now be displayed.

[HP=214]:set keep on

If you die/reroll you will keep some of your experience.

[HP=214]:brief

God DAMN that shit is annoying. I like my palette 3, I like my talk slow, my warns off, and verbose on. How the hell do I make megamud quit doing this shit every time I log in? I can't find the options anywhere.

I've noticed it only happens after you lose ansi and its reset, is that a problem with you or is it all the time. Is your ansi set on or does it reset everytime too?>

Theres an option in your account settings (where you insert your name etc) and I believe you want to have ansi ON

My ansi is set on, and it always auto-detects right (I'm on local... never had the ansi problem). It happens every single time I start megamud and it logs into the game.

Only time I've seen it is when mega logs on w/o ansi. Try playing w/ ansi settings under bbs..

okay, try setting auto-detect to ON instead and see what that does
