Here's a suggestion/question. Can you make it so you can export a list of just what monsters drop item-wise? Would really make things easier on me. :D

To expand on Reckless's idea, how about make a feature that you can export any data? Go to an export tool, and check off what you want exported from monsters/items/etc..., and export whatever data you checked.

Would turning item #'s from the item's dropped field of the monsters.dat be out of the question too? :D

All of this can be done using the data that's there and MS Access. I know you guys can get that. Maybe down the line I will incorporate a feature to only export certain things, but for now I'd rather work on other things.



elpres, the things i have on my notes list are (in no specific order):



-message/spell/damage/textblock checkers (to check if they work)

-quest editor

-universal modifier -- limit action by conditions. like only if regen time > 0 or only if limit = 0, etc

-boss exp multiply

-create/strip/change abilities with universal mod.



right now i'm actually working a database merge utility that will take any btrieve database and import all the records from it into another btrieve database. this is mainly for someone who is looking to merge two user dats but could be used for anything else.
