I say for the money there is not alot of defference between the fx and the pro.......I think I am going with the pro!

pro's aren't $230 ;) That's the cheap version of the pro...hehe I have and probably always will be a geforce man myself.

no like I said u can get a pro for around 300 now but they are releasing Tachyon G9700 PRO soon witch if ati sticks to there guns like they normaly do it will blow the new geforce out of the water.......and knowing geforce they wont even release the fx for anonther 6 months!

Nod, they have a graphics card coming out that is so much better than any one on the market. They learned how to use a new kind of chip or some shit like that. I forget. I don't even know whose making it. Whatever.

The problem is will they be able to market at a price that the consumer will pay.......I am willing to pay 300- for a card but I am not willing to pay more....thats the problem everytime I go looking for a good graphics card the one I want is to much so I wait, then I come back a few months later and the one I wanted is now in my price range but I jump out to tomshardware.com and see that they are releasing some new kewl shit......well fuckit

I look at bang for the buck when I look at video cards and geforce almost always win that. ATI's are good cards, but the prices are astronomical.

what......for the product they are always cheaper than geforce!
