ok, better question. where do you get a platinum key from besides the death minion cuz he's hiding behind the -999 door that needs the platinum key. Tell me Metro didn't really screw this up?

Last I knew Platinum knights were not in the game unless you added them in yourself... Things may have changed in K I dont know..

It's a part of the Darkbane quest. Talk to the ghost in the white(?) forest in mod9 ne corner of the lake. If you're a paladin, the ghost will give you the platinum key to get to the death minion. Then since death minion drops the replacement for you, you'll be set for future trips to get signet rings if needed.
