Is there a way to disable the webserver with Worldgroup? I am getting messages in my Audit Trail of someone trying to hack in to my computer.. trying to access my harddrives through the web server. not too sure if they got in... but there are a few PAGE NOT FOUND errors of them trying to....

Any suggestions???

Also.. anyone got any news, or any place where this new version of worldgroup can be found?

Thanks

Yes go into your general setup click on web server and where it asks do you want to provide world-wide web services? click no .. save exit and start up WG and you're good to go.. As a general note.. There are always people scanning ports whether you provide www functions or not.. Any open port is vulnerable, but the likelihood of anyone actually hacking your web server is little to none.

You mean that you see in your Audit some stuff like

WEB PAGE REQUEST NOT FOUND - http://blablabla?root.exe and stuff like that?

If so, its a portscan from someone looking for bug in the webserver. Actually, WG will just reply to him that the page doesnt exist... so your ok...

But if you want, you still can disable the WWW module of WG.
