ANSI Problems!

I'm having some difficulty here..
Setting up my logon screen for my BBS, and I can't figure out how to change the cursor placement.
Basically, how do I get it so when the user starts typing in their login name, it will start typing where the star is:
----- Logon: *
So I want one space after the ':'
I've been using AcidDraw, putting the cursor where I want it, saving it with Home Cursor mode.. but when I go to copy and paste the ANSI into WG textblock editor I have to again load it up in WGSDRAW so it will save in the correct WG format.. is there a 'home cursor' option I am missing in WGSDRAW?
Also, say I want to display "usersonline: USERS_ONLINE"
How do I get that to work, do I have to put like $ symbols around it?
Thanks,
Sean

you have to use wgsdraw to change the cursor position... if its not showing that means you have a bunch of blank lines after your ansi code... open it in a text editor and remove the blank lines...

i couldn't find the variable name for the cursor position. but it puts the cursor where the file ends. look at the screencap below and notice how the line at the bottom isn't straight. it goes over and then up and then the rest of the way over. right where it goes up it is indicating the end of the line/file. i do believe there is a variable for it 'cause i've seen ansi's where the cursor is in the middle, but this way should work for you.

Yea I noticed that too, but I should've been more specific..
My "---- Login: *" example is not really what Im using, Im really trying to get the cursor to popup in the middle of the screen :)

Alt+F sets the final cursor position and color

Load up the edit text blocks function, open a text block, hit ALT-H and read the help file. It helps.

Alt-F Right on Speed... but wgsdraw is fucked up.. go like 1 space further than you want it... you'll figure it out :)

Yea it's really fucked up.
At first the Alt-F wasn't even a space off .. it was like 20 spaces off. But now when I save it yea its only one space off so I just have to adjust that.. weird.
Also the Alt-V or whatever it is to add system variables works great but then it totally fucks up your ANSI if you have anything in the same line as your system variable.
Ughh wgsdraw sucks.

Wgsdraw works for me. I usually do all my edits in Aciddraw, then import it into wgsdraw. It took me a while to figure out how to get the stuff to actually SAVE into WG, but everythings A-OK for me.
