I wanted to pose a question.



I have the Gold Ganghouse. Due to recent events, one of my members had a "Gold Key" only. I make it policy never to give out vault keys and I dont even carry them.



So CLean up happened around 3 am and so no one outside of my gang should have an emblem or any keys of any sort. Except for an empty house, I have 2 vaults NE and NW Packed to the Brim of eq and stashed fully.



Now for scripting purposes I carry my Blood Lance but I wanted to swing my Dragonfang around a bit so I went to my vault and I opened the NW and dropped the Blood Lance and Picked up my Dragonfang. Roaming around town killing guards and such, I decided to go script and I went back to my Vaults.



My NW Vault was stripped of 1/2 of its eq like platinum bracers, my blood lance and a bunch of other stuff.



Earlier today I killed MR and I put his eq in my NE vault which had all of MR's EQ gone and a lot of other stuff in there as well.



THis all occured in the span of 5-15 minutes. So I'm wondering, I'm not accusing anyone of anything. But is there some way someone got into my house, past my guards, and into my vaults taking only a certain selected stuff? Or did the Game delete it? Xetox attests to the fact that it didn't but I'm still not sure.



Theres also this bug, I swear to God it exists certain periods of time. That the Realm Deed Shop will show ALL ganghouse deeds including my own in the shop. If this does occur and I'm not crazy, Could it be someone bought my deed and used it to gain access into my house? Could it also be responsible for the 30-40 minute crash the bbs sustained around that time?



Just need some answers b/c if theres a way people can get into my house with impunity, I see it pointless to have a ganghouse.

guardians are easy to kill with 2 or 3 50 lvl char's...but if they weren't disturbed then I'd be curious since all guardians (I believe) see hidden. The doors on the house don't stay open overly long, but if you left all the doors open, someone could've very well run in behind you and swiped everything.

Actually I got my questioned answered. Apparently I was right a long time ago. The realm would spawn GOld House deed like every so often and he bought it and used it to gank everything. I suspected but I was also interested if there was a legit way he was doing it. But that problem has been solved so i guess the bug is gone. Thank Goodness.

that really sux, Thats the prime reason I dont use a ganghouse..BUGS!! I prefer a level 1 HO warrior as a mule to hold all my extra crap. ASk your sysop beforehand if thats allowed, most will let you as long as he stays level 1 and isnt played. Hell you could even bring him to the ganghouse and park him inside so hes always there.

That's gay, that just means nobody can get your shit. Ganghouses are meant to be able to be broken into after a while, if someone is carrying a vault key or whatever. I hate stash characters. I don't use gang houses, I use stash spots. I go to a random spot in the realm, say out in DTH or down in the tunnels down there, and hide all my shit. I've never had anyone find a stash spot of mine. It may be a hike, but that's the price you pay for security.

yea but what happens when the sysop decides to do a room cleanup? your shit is gone!

thats why the sysop should TELL everyone when he is doing a realm cleanup

Realm cleanups are pointless. There is no need for them. A sysop who runs a realm cleanup without informing players at least a week in advance is a bad sysop. What if he runs a cleanup right after you die? Your shit is gone. Those should be advertised.
