Hello can anyone help me with this error on nightmare i download the latest one of nightmare. But this happen to me on other one I downloaded Nightmare 7.2 then 7.21 it gave me this error on exit Nightmare_Redux.exe has generated error and wil be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created. I'm currently using win 2k. But on my other system I never had that error and was using win ME. I know win ME piece of crap but it a crappy computer lol. Then I install 7.3 the latest nightmare still give me that error. Was wondering anyone can help too?. I also uninstall nightmare and just install nightmare 7.3 and still give me error.



Also can anyone tell me difference on Nightmare_Redux_v0.7.3_BETA.zip and Nightmare_Redux_v0.7.3_BaseFilesOnly.zip, or Do I have to download both?.

What kind of feature or files are those?

the base files is like a patch to upgrade earlier versions..the beta.zip is the whole program, if ya already got nightmare get the base files one.



thos 0.96.77 is from the old nightmare, mod 8.

as for your crashing problems on exit, do you have any more details on the error? only one other person reported the crashing problems and i gave him an updated exe with a possible fix (included in 0.7.3) and he said it cleared everything up.



since you are running win2k: (as an administrator) run & close nightmare and have it crash and then go to start --> settings --> control panel --> administrator tools --> event viewer --> application and/or system and look to see if it put anything in there about the crash. be precise about the error message (copy and paste if available).



finally, please try to reread what you type for typos. i can't stand reading posts like your's and cane's.

I have this problem too, but im at school right now and have not tried the 7.3, ill check when i get home and let you know =)
