Which version to run? [Archive] - ForumsHQ

I've gotta pick between Redhat 8.0, SuSe, and FreeBSD. I'm gonna be running a server for that game in that other post. I'm experienced in linux environments, so ease of use isn't a big deal. Which one does everyone recommend for a server? I am also probably going to be running a web page, would it be sane to do off of the same server? Please mind this is not an open-ended question, there are three options, saying "They all suck, use XXXXX" will not help me. I need to know between Redhat, SuSe, and FreeBSD.

-edit-

I know virtually nill about networking. I need an OS that's going to easily detect my cable modem and set it up w/o much hassle. Also, I'm using a Linksys router. I can have a Linux server and a Win98 machine connected to the same router w/o probs, right?
