exp multiplication

ok so i'm putting up this board and going over all my edits and making sure they work right blah blah blah. So the first thing i do is check the exp multiplication. I kill a rat and i get 3600 exp. Now, i thought i set it for 40x the exp, but 3600 is *400* times 9 (the original exp points). Now, is this usual? or am i going to have to devide the exp now...i'm so confused and i hate math :-p

any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did u multiply it? The way I do 40x that works best is 20x then a second time 2x. As well as you have to kill the regen to get the new numbers or sys reset the areas.

Ok, i devided it first by 4, which got it down to 100 and then i devided 100 by 2 and now it's set at 50. I think i'll just keep it at 50% anyways...

Just for future reference, when YOU multiply the exp, do you put in "40" then multiply and then "2"? or do you do 40x's twice...

So now i know nightmare takes the current level of exp and multilplys THAT number. I think i did a 20x multiply and then i did another 20x (which equals 400.....i think!). Damn mathematics, i cant only count to 100 jeeez!
