I just recently started back up mmudin on morbid (When I say I get back into it, I usually mean when I actually download megamud and start scripting). I downloaded megamud and installed it..I even got it reg'd..so that means I'm gonna be playin for longer than 2 weeks.



Anyway..I was just settin up my windows...positioning the conversation window, stretching it into position..and, I got to wondering if I'm just obsessive over how I setup my megamud windows, or does everone do this?



So, I really got curious, and amd now asking you all...How do YOU MegaMUD? ;) How do you like your's setup..do you have every statistic window open? Do you use the quick keys for movement?



Me, personally...I have the player statistics in the upper right, and the conversation box open from the left all the way to the player stats box, and from the toolbar across the top to about the middle of the combat stats section. I line mine up precisey with one another so they look a little better, since the edges of the frames are kinda screwy and don't push together properly. (Like the bottom of IE lines up alot better with the top of the taskbar)



Ok, it seems I might be a tad obsessive..but, what about you guys? (I'd say and gals, but I don't think we have enough of those who actually play..)

Nope,i do the same damn thing,in fact im obsessive about having the start bar at the top of my windows as opposed to the bottem. Same basic difference.

aight let me tweak mine and I will post a screen cap.....but I must sober up first!

I keep my convo box about 1/6th the screen as a square in the top right, just under my min/max/close buttons. That's it. My shit stays closed, I like to have max viewing of whats goin on.

I usually don't maximize mega..I stretch it to where I got an inch and a half or so from it's edges to the edge of my monitor..it usually fuckes up where, when i click on it on my taskbar only the party status and convo box pop up, like it's off screen. I end up having to maximize them, even though I prefer not to.



I have the convo window top right, not positioned perfectly or precisely, just positioned to where I can get at what I need to and see what I gotta without moving everything around. The party status is usually above the convo box, or below it depending on where the convo box is, and depending on how big my party is...



That's about it i think.

im running at 1000 something by 720 some od display for windows -



my megamud display is at 40x127 i think (it takes away the margin at the borders)



this allows me to proudly display my character stats, alone w/ my convo box - and any other boxes i needa see..
