Say when you use the remove limited tab or you make a change to a boss for chest drop % or what he drops do you have to run the compile update file? And before ya say yes I know BACK-UP BACK-UP BACK-UP :)

yea it is recommended that you run a compiled update after making any kind of changes.

if you don't compile an update then when the update runs through when the bbs is started, it will wipe out your edits.

i'm getting the blocked out message when you try to enter. It says have sysop reapply the latest update? Any help is appreciated.

need more details ... what have you done? did you just compile an update? if so, was it working before that?

yes all was working prior to any changes I made. All I did was remove limited items and drop % on some chest. Compiled update. Ran offline utilities on MMud. Then started server and it wont let me into the game.

hmm, i've seen that before. are you using a cracked dll? lemme try to reproduce it again and get back to you.

yeah, that's the problem. you need a dll with the update file crack.

guess its time to go search the net for i's dll. I know there was one out there that was h with the h changed to i. unless someone has it laying around that they would send me.
