Nothing against you Admiral... since it wouldn't be you doing it, but personally I think its completely disrespectful for a "respected" member of the MMB community to log on to a bbs and spam Collision X in gossips. Especially when that bbs's sysop has NEVER logged on this "respected member"'s old bbs and advertised his own. Especially when just a few months ago, the bbs hardly got any recognition for anything, but now its the place to go when you want to advertise your own shit. I think it's pretty funny how the users of that bbs pretty much told this "member" to fuck off. I can't say the name of the bbs because it doesn't really exist... but you get the idea.

i'll advertize on any bbs i feel fit to. I didnt pick yours because you think i think its the shit. I advertized on all the edited bbs's i could find. Is this a problem? not in my eyes it aint.. why? read below..

every bbs i ran, i tried to suppot both mmb and everyone elses bbs (by creating telnet menu to log into these systems.) I never had a beef with anyone advertizing. I also would put a link to mmb on my menu pages. I would not send inboard emails to my users telling them the news of the realm. I would post it on mmb and make them come here and read it..

Most the systems i advertized on, lots of the usres never even been to MMB - now thats bull shit..

i can vouge for that, he's right about the other bbs's thing. hell he's helped a lot of people get where they are. i know he's helped me personally a ton.



i personally don't see anything wrong with a little bit of advertising. however, what i'm going to do is put a list of 'em on my entrance page, for if anyone wants it, they can go there. but spam on, spread the disease :)

It's not like he's stealing users. You can play on more than one mud. I see nothing wrong with this, as long as it's not like spamming a hundred thousand times interfering with game play.

i dont have any problem with advertising. I personally never did it on other people's boards, but I didn't mind if someone came to mine and did it, as long as they didn't overdo it. It wasn't my bbs you were on anyway, I dunno what you're talkin about. :rolleye:

oh, well, i did advertizer on ur bbs.. but i didnt over do it, i just ask anyone if they wanted to check it out. some said yes, so i gossiped it once, then answered some questions they had. same on all the other boards...



anywayz assholes - this is a thread for my bbs, not personal bullshit.. if u had a problem u were trying to get out about someone elses board, you should of flamed me in the 'hall of flame' where they belong...
