I love this minigame :)



For those that don't know, its the main minigame in Final Fantasy X



Now, who here thinks Square should integrate Blitz Ball into PlayOnline when it debuts with FFXI? ;)



I think it should, playing 5 computer teams is kinda easy after a while..It would be badass to go up against some human players

Blitzball was f00kin hard. I couldnt navigate that game worth a crap.

Where you using auto control or one of the manual modes? Manual A controls in relation to the minimap, not the screen...I don't know about Manual B..cuz I don't use it ;)



After the first 3 games of the first league game my players got damn good (it helped to recruit some guy that already had a 12 catching stat ;) )



I've already won first in the league and tournament once, along with top scorer for both ;)





BUT!!! It is still a kewl game :D

I hated that game, it was so boring. Hence why Wakka still has one limit break (or whatever they were called in that one)

Does anyone know if you get anything for actually playing the game? Like a special ending at the end of the game or something?



If not, good cause I really havent been bothering with it

The only thing I've noticed is wakka's limit breaks (whatever) and cheezy items.

You get Wakka overdrives for winning each league game first, and the top scorer usually gets an ether (rare items in this game)



For the tournament, it generally randomly picks items. Some include teleport spheres, wht/blk magic spheres, friend spheres, and other rare spheres. teleport spheres are great for adding evade and counter to your weapons. friend spheres let you add counterattack ;)





They really need to make learning the techniques a little easier...its nearly impossible to learn techs like anti-wither or anti-venom since they are auto use abilities.



Plus they shoulda made it more 3d..its a giant sphere for a playing ground, and you can only use the equator plane to play on..what is that shit? heh

where is the easiest place to get lvl 4 key spheres? i'm about to beat the game but i wanna get a few more things on the sphere grid. i can't stand the omega ruins cause of them damn monsters that cast shit like bad breath and then you just sit there and watch your guys die.

Pretty sure you can steal em from Nemesis, he's the last guy in the monster arena. Not sure of an easier place to get em.
