just wanna see who all posts here, i used to play mud all the time, used to edit (very little) ??? , but now i'm back, and got the hook again, started playin mud in uh 1995 or early 96 can't remember for sure...pretty sure was 95, anyhow, saw the mod with dragonteeth come in, and each mod since, cept 8 I don't know shit bout that one, yet, anyhow, played mud all the time between cept about the last 6-9 months, pretty pathetic, eh? well, i can't stand legit bbs' anymore, so i only play edits, play on morbidbbs, thats bout it right now, but am always lookin for other bbs...hmm guess thats enough garbage for now, soooo...who do i see postin here all the time? how long ya played etc etc.....

I started MMUD back in '95/'96 also on a local dial up BBS. Showed up on the hexing scene '97/'98 and been here ever since. I Haven't played on a regular board in 3 years.



Actually, I don't really play majormud anymore. Every once in a while, I'll log on to see what's up, but I have better things to do nowadays...



As for MMB, I started this place almost 1 year ago (November 19, 2000 to be exact). After all these months and 4 different servers and countless forum versions, this is where we are today.



You know.. the funny thing is Metro never thought MMB would amount to anything. Yet, we have 1/8th of the members of the "Official" Majormud Forums and MMB's listing on google is higher than theirs.

I have been playin mud since about ummm lets see 94-95. I really dont play anymore other than runnin morbid. Can't really have fun playing when you are recieving 10 tps every 5 min



As for mmb I love this place one of the best forums I ever been on.



As for Aragon, he's the one that got me started on runnin my own board ------ that bastard -------- but I have fun with it and he is alot of help as is everyone else. This is a good forum if u are lookin for answers to questions.

I started in 95, got introduced to my then gf...Started on a dialup bbs at 4 hours a day called Sunset Ranch BBS, set in Abilene, Texas...After that, I moved on to running 2 chars on that bbs on telnet and scripting 24/7. After I moved outta town, the bbs went under, so I started up my own, Druids Grove BBS, had it up for over a year, off and on, on a 56k dialup and had an average of 35 people playin at a time (without dupes). That was around 97-98, I started hexing at that time too. Got introduced to Hell, Legolas and Krayzie K. After I made such a name, they dropped into the black pit of nothingness, leaving me the only one still around from 5 years ago...Still the master hexor for mud, my hex maps are the best around, and still posted. My site is still up, and unlike that lame crew MajorHex, we didn't and won't sell out to Metro (well, not for less that half a million)

Ive been playing mud since about 1993, I started by playing on a BBS called Unnamed BBS...Belive it or not my old school Mother got me into majormud LOL..DAM HER FOR MAKING ME AN ADDICT!.....From there I started getting really into it andf started playing on OLD school bbs's LIKE Clockwork, Action BBS, LocalMotion, and a few others (just to stoned to think abotu all the rest)

I stopped playing around 2000-01 cuz mud kinda lost all meaning to me and lots of old school BBS's were dropping like flies....Picked back up around 2003 with Treehouse underground and a few others, lost meaning again, and now I edit my own bbs and only dabble a little in playing on other bbs's...

I donno about the whole 1993 thing. I don't believe MajorMUD moved to other systems until 1994.. but whatever

I'll make this as short as possible. Started playing MajorMUD on GameNET (Worldnet Ohio) via my hometowns local BBS (MadBBS AKA Modem Madness). Those were the good days as I'm sure most of you will agree. Started scripting shortly aftering using stolen Slayer Scripts for QModemPro.

Started Quicksilver originally in 1998. The BBS was up and down constantly because of edit corruptions and what not. Created RetroMUD which was basically WG2.0 running MajorMUD 1.1d and 1.0y alpha around 2000 and it ran for about 6 months. After that Quicksilver came back up around 2001 and its been up every since.

I don't believe I have PLAYED MajorMUD for more than 1 month straight in the last 3 years. I do find myself loading MegaMUD every now and then, but usually end up quitting when I'm too lazy to go find my deathpile.

I said about 1993, MEaning 1993-EARLY 1994, I was 13 yrs old when i started playing major mud, this much i know :) but whatever :)
