If you add new monsters, or edit existing monsters... in a different directory, then copy over to the WG directory, overwriting your old wccknms2.dat... it overwrites the drops, so if something drops 1% of the time, it'll keep dropping every time if you keep updating the dat. I know there's an option in redux to change the last time killed, I think there should be an option to be able to change the time for ALL monsters, so ya dont have to go thru and edit the times to make sure stuff doesnt drop constantly. Just an idea... since there hasnt been a redux update in awhile :D

there is an option to reset the last killed time for all the monsters, under tools --> monsters. I wonder if it's stored in the monster dat how many times an item has been dropped. I'll investigate. This also shows something I've been a little worried about with the export/import.
While we have figured out many of the hex values and what they're for in most of the dats, there are still things that we don't know. Go look on mudhex (http://hexedit.morbidfascinations.org) at the hex maps I submitted under mod9. There are some things unknown. My theory is that there aren't actually any "0000" a.k.a. "zeros" with the dat and everything means something, but it's very hard to figure everything out. What I'm getting to is, lets say you exported your entire realm and then deleted every record in all the dats. When you import the stuff back it's only going to import the things NMR has editing fields for. Maybe this wont cause any problems at all and we actually do have all the necessary data for each dat, but maybe not. I'm going to have to do A LOT of experimenting with this when I have it finished.
As for the lack of updates, yeah, sorry about that. I just got a new laptop last week so I was farting around with that for awhile. My roommate is also moving out this week and a new one coming in this weekend. Then next week I'm going on vacation to Jamaica (aww yeah!) for a few days. I'm going to try and get something worth while out before I leave. Right now I'm working on exporting all the databases to an MS Access database. This will enable me to make imports without worrying about delemiters. The only thing is that this is a very tedious process since I already have it figured out. So all I'm really doing is a lot of cutting and pasting to each section and changing some words (not very fun and hard to get motivated :)). But rest assured, I'll have something for you guys soon enough.

I miss the reply box :( Anyway. I dont wanna reset all the times killed... I'm a little leary to use that option, cuz I dont know if it resets them to 00:00:00 on 00/00/00 or if I get to specify what time. I wouldnt want it to go back and say something that was killed for the first time an hour ago was never killed, therefore dropping all its items on what the dats would think is its first kill, next time it was killed. Ya get what I'm tryin to say? I can be confusing at times.
** I just have high expectations for Sinister Urge, and for that, I apologize ** :-p

yeah, that option sets it back to 00/00/0000 00:00:00. But that is just the last killed time. there has to be somewhere that it records what has been dropped. and i'm guessing it's in the monster file. I'm gonna experiement with it this weekend and get back to you.
