We all make choices.
We choose to get up, or hit the snooze...to have waffles or pancakes.
We choose to goto college, or goto work.
I have been reflecting on some of the decisions I have made in my life and have come to doubt some of them. But then, I think about the way my life is because of those choices. Sometimes things look good, but then they look bad.
For instance, I chose to get married at a young age (actually, I chose not to do anything about it, and ended up married...) and some would think that was good, but reflecting back, it was a poor decision. I don't regret it, because there were so many good times (Like the going away party her friends threw us and I used my first facemask to smoke out with) as well as bad (and that same night, I got vertigo so bad, I got dizzy laying down).
But its just, right when you have to choose, you cannot see hte outcome. And when you are going thru the events caused by that choice, you begin to think its a bad/good situation. The events always seem bad, but then when the time passes, you look back and wonder why it was so bad...eventually you forget how bad it felt. The only things most people ever really remember are the good things. Some choose to dwell on the bad more than others, and it always saddens me to see that. It saddens me because so much of my own life I had lived within a depression, and dwelt on the sadnesses of life. It was so long before I found the joy and happiness of life.
Ok, I have completely lost the trail of my thoughts...but I guess that's one of the reason I had this forum established :)
