This is wierd as hell.. added 4 monsters to 1 new area same index same group, they regen fine.. i added 3 monsters to another area, same index same group.. only the 1st one on the list regens... i have tried a billion things, i been adding rooms for years i know the settings are right... done offline recovery.. no luck.. something else strange.. if i add them at the end of the list, they dont regen at all.. even tho settings are the same.. is theres something goin on i dunno about? right now i have npcs that are assigned to a room placed at the end of the list... they work... ideas anyone?

when i said 'the list' i am referring to the monster dat.. 'end of the list' meaning the last monsters on the monster list. I pretty much did the same as you did, but i was using 0 for delay (which seems to work for other areas).. I'm still having this problem i'll post any more fidings..

Ok, i'm pounding my head against the wall now... Decided to do exactly what you did in your tutorial (only using my new area)..
Created 3 new monsters based off of giant rat.. Group 23 Index 5353-5355. (Mon1-3)
Regen Rooms:
Delay 1
Min/Max Index 5353/5355
Max Regen 3
Room type Lair
Monster type Group 23
heres what happens (still) - only mon 2 regens in areas

what about your control room? you need to have a control room with a max area set. i think all the other rooms should have a 0 for max area. the control room keeps track of how many monsters are in the area (i believe). all of the regen rooms need to point to the control room (the control room points to itself as well).

you are correct. the control room sets the room max for monsters.. i did have all that stuff correct. i'm starting to shink something is seriously wrong. ive tried many different things.. stuff that i never would normally consider trying heh... and just now i recreated your test exactly down to the room.. creadted update, did recovery and started up... let the map update complete.. same damn problem.. it seems like its just not seeing some monsters... yet some other new ones work fine... let me know if u have any other ideas.. i'm about out... could i have a screwed up dll?
