Anyone know the edits required to allow new classes to do the legitimate quests? I'm running version G. Thanks...

yes the quest are in text blocks. you have to add lines for your new classes

I've been doing hand edits for the most part and I'm not certain how the blocks in the text file work... are they referenced in one of the other dats?

yes. when you 'ask grey eye' (example) it reads a text block defined in the monster entry. the block is specified in the 'greet text' field. when a user greets the nps/monster it goes to the block specified. take a look at the grey lord and his text blocks. you will see the class checks... simply add an entry for your new class numbers to make it work for new classes.

i see where it says the greet message he uses when i edit monsters in ljn, but which file does this reference? when i open wcctext2 in my hex editor i don't see where to make the changes...

export the text file in LJN (under advanced stuff) open that baby up in your fav. text editor and wammo... search for 'class' (minus the single quote) and you will come across lots of class entries.... start cuttin and pastin...
when yer done... compile the text file in ljn and wammo... yer text files are done!
