Well I tried it... and it seems to be working great. Of course I've only done some minor editing..... Exp ratios on both the classes and races, HP bonus on the races, One shop.



Like I said nothing real major. But it is smooth.



Only All my guys (except the sysop) lost all thier gear.





Here is what I did.



Deleted the update file, then ran the Server so that it would make a new one.



I was still having the problem were everything was in Copper in the shops. I found that LJN somehow modified my Items.dat to make everying copper.



So I replaced the Items.dat with a new one.



Ran Redux made my changes (it found the ones that were already done by LJN). Then created the Update file.



I needed to run a Recovery, but now I've got no issues at all.



Regen is great, the Shop prices are correct..... Now all I need to do is try to kill LOTH, and see if it still hangs the BBS.

So - cant remember...what was the database files you have to have to use nightmare?:wstupid:

All of the normal mud files...redux will edit everything, including banks and users...basically any file labeled wcc*.dat

THEN in the thread, he talks about it WORKING...????? I've noticed this in some other threads too..Maybe he has a short attention span..just completely forgets what he was talking about in the middle of his thought? lol=P

Well I read when it was posted that Redux works with 1.11h (and only).



But, hell, I'm stubborn. (or dumb) so I tried it on my 1.11i anyway. And it worked Fine. SO I was a little excited. :D



I've been working on that Shop / everything in Copper issue since I installed it. Now (Thanks to Redux) it works great.



I was just trying to figure out why it was said that Redux only works on 1.11h??? Maybe it was ment that it works on 1.11h or better????



Oh Well, who cares. It works great and that is what really matters. ;)

Ok, Syntax... did you edit the post over in the General Forum to read Only Mod9 instead of only 1.11h??? Perhaps, I took too much cough syrup.



I coulda swore it read only 1.11h when it was first posted.... Ok, So now I feal like an idiot.... Hmm.. Where's my friend, Jim Beam? He always makes me feel better... :D

Cough.. well it works fine on 1.11i as I have already added over 40 rooms. What I suggest you doing, is RE-INSTALLING your mud cuz granted LJN kicks-ass its for mod8 and below. When you have re-installed come back and run nm again and see if that helps.

yeah, i did edit it. People seemed to get confused.

About the loth I know there is a patch out there that fixes that
