For example, should we include other muds and cut down on majormud stuff? (Like scripting forums, caps, bbs reviews <--- maybe change this to site reviews or something)



How many of you would support it (i.e. tell people to come ;) )

I had to go with the no, cuz while it may be cool for MMB to have stuff for other types of muds, majormud is what got us all here, its the main, and in many cases only type of mud that some of us play, i think removing things related to majormud(except maybe the scripting forum, cuz its kind of irrelevant with multiple exp and unique areas)... im not opposed to adding anything, but i dont think much warrants removal..

I dont think he's talkin about REMOVING the MajorMudd info, I think hes talking about ADDING new sections to the forum.

Obviously, i'm not removing things that make this forum unique...

Which is why these forums are very sparsely populated with posts and therefore are dispensable

nod, we are on the same page then... just wasnt sure what you planned to remove... you know what would be cool, i dunno if VB can do things like this or not, i know shit of running forums.. but if it could do something similar to the expanding of folders in windows explorer, where you got like

+General

+Majormud

+Other Muds



then you click the +, and it shows whats under it.. like general nonsense, club mmb, general pc, blah blah.. click the + on majormud and its got all the bbs, editing, etc... this wouldnt matter as much now, as if forums were added for various other muds, etc.. seems like a good idea to me now, but im all fucked up numerous substances, so later i may be like, wtf purpose would that serve..

You think people are still going to play Majormud in.. say 2 years? Most of you will be long past majormud by then and forget all about MMB. :cry:

2 years? While some of us will be long past MajorMUD in 2 years, most of us will probably still be around..and if not, there will be new faces. The only way this game will ever DIE is if another game better than it is made...take Tele-Arena for example..was one of the best and most popular games before MajorMUD (well, on the 4 bbs's I used to play on), then out comes MajorMUD and POOF, TA is nothing...you'll be hard pressed to find a BBS with TA on it.



That's just the way it is=P

If we want to grow bigger than we are now we are going to have to do some changes.....I say lets go with it, the majormud portion of it wont go anywhere but maybe we can draw a new crowd in with other options, once we start drawing more peeps here maybe we can get more people playing on the bbs!
