In regards to New MODs that MMB plan to create. Just a few ideas I have always wanted to see implemented into MM.

*Dual Class* {their could also be a quest for this}

Lets say your max lvl is 255, maybe at lvl 50 your a master of whatever class you have choosen. Now at lvl 51 you start your dual class which you would be able to choose, so if your a lvl 50 warrior maybe you can learn some priest spells. I have an idea of how to do this, but it would pretty much restrict what your dual class would be based on the class you started with. Obviously you could become maybe another class or just max the two classes.

We are a team, but we are not one. :cheesy:

On MMB, both xetox and I are admin, but I run this joint

On Morbid, both xetox and I are sysop, but he's boss. (actually, I am, but I let him think he is ;))

i think he's just making suggestions, not saying that he wants morbid to do it. i think he just wants someone to try it. sounds like a good idea. but what if a druid wants their level 51 thing to be priest, you can't give a class two spell kinds i don't think

sure ya can. at level 51 make a druid spell that is identical to a priest spell. only thing i can think of. as far as say a warrior getting mage spells or something at level 50... just restrict all mage spells to useable by only mage classes until ya get to level 50. It wouldnt really be the same as being a new class, and would take forever to get all the spells restricted, but it would work, and I'm too stupid to think of any other way to get his idea to work.

ok, you can make priest spells actually as druid spells, but then you wouldn't have priest spell-casting ability, just priest spells in your druid repetoire

2nd 'class' would be decided with the original class.. no way for user to pick 2nd class... lame... my suggestion for this is to make actual classes that are 'fighter/mage' or 'mage/thief'... assign the appropriate flags and make the new spells based of old... just give these new classes the combined exp table for both old classes...

it would be simple enough.. albeit a bit time consuming to set up a series of quest npcs that could give the abilities of other classes to a character.. as for spells.. copying all the existing player usable spells and assigning them as mons/item would just be a pain but would easily solve the problems.. anywho.. thas my two cents..

I would assume making quests to give abilities to a class that doesnt normally have it would be time consuming... but I'm not positive. I'd have to ask Atma on that one as he altered the 2nd alignment quest on SinUrge to give 5 tokens which you can trade in for new abilities. It's really useful, but yeah I'm sure it took him forever to do it. But that goes to show that it IS possible.
