DialSoft + Log File = Error?

Hey Guys..
I installed DialSoft Control, because people can't respect the rules (and probably still won't)..
BUT..
I've noticed ever since I installed it, I get an error on my remote sysop console about opening the log file.
It looks like it will log a certain amount of entries after cleanup, then I get this error:
Error opening log file! - (ERROR: Can't open log file for updating!)
... Is it getting full? Did DialSoft mess up a directory point? I don't know.. any ideas on where to look?
DialSoft did cause crash the other day.. no one has fessed up to what caused it, but it did happen when (cough) someone was attempting to make lots of dupe accounts and test the viability of the IP control.. any idea what could cause this? I forget the error code..
