Wheels aka mudzilla no longer pretends to not cheat at least. Now he just tells you, It's my board and I'll take anything from anyone when I choose because I am a man and I can do that. That is an exact quote. His cheating exploits are too numerous to re-hash, it's easier to just search "evermud" under bbs advertising. Congrat Mudz, you finally made it.

sounds like another sore loser to me.. i dont even no the story but its the same M.O.... 9 times outa 10 when something like this is stated the story goes something like this

User does something wrong and stupid.
Sysop punishes user for doing this wrong and/or stupid thing.
User comes to MMB and claims the sysop is being unfair by claiming the sysop cheats cause of his punishments

probably closer to 5 times out of 10

i see it as just the opposite. 9/10 its a sysop issue. sysop puts up a bbs just to feel empowered and finds anyway possible to have an advantage over the rest of the users.

Which is why if your going to run a board the best thing to do is just set it up and walk away from it. If you have to play then play on someone elses board. If you play on your own every time there is a bug or some issue that can even remotely be seen as a sysop cheating that is what it will turn into regardless of the circumstances.

I think in 9/10 cases, both parties are at fault. most ops are unfit to run boards, and its generally pretty quick and easy to determine whether the sysop falls into that category. I think a player who learns this and yet continues to play is at least partially at fault.

here is a re-post of some easy ways to tell that a board is run by power tripping douche. If any of these are true, your best option is to log off before gaining any exp:

1. there are any restrictions on what any person can say to any other person, at any time, for any reason
2. there are mudops/sysops in addition to the primary owner/sysop (unless the main guy is regularly unavailable for several days)
3. sys powers or character edits have been used for any purpose other than to undo the effects of a mud crash with significant data loss or the effects of bug in the mud (not a client bug or misconfiguration)
4. the administration sits online all day for no apparent reason other than to police the realm.
5. the administration also plays the mud.

In this case, it was so easy to tell the board wasn't worth playing, you didn't have even need to log on to know it.

"Playing sysop - yes" = absolute disqualifier
"Playing SySop- Yes, no powers - no cheats" = by definition, a lie. a playing sysop can't not have powers.

yes, MrSysop is a NPC i have another NON playing char specifily for helper (exping lowbies/dr gets/ ect) he has auto-joins to al in realm!! otherwise does not scrit/play bby himself!!

so if yoi like a laid back mid-edited ( reworked) bbs, come give Whitedragonbbs.dyndns.org a try low # 0f peeps on, but good! peeps!..
