Cartographers Unite!

The whole set of dens do not fit on one map, but they come close. The white den goes deeper, the black den goes higher.

And this isn't an ANS map, because this map represents about 20 ANS maps.

It may seem like a lot of regen rooms, but the ones at the dead ends are 45-90 minute regen times.

Also, it's a 50+ area, so I wanted it to be more stable and enjoyable than say... dying fields or webbed lair.

Suggestions? (Especially you, Mr. DeathCow) I'll open a new thread to share some of my descriptions, maybe you can opine.

So, one thing I noticed that remains relatively un-utilized is the map feature in mud. I've been slowly seeking to remedy this for two reasons:

1) My poor users must suffer without sys map. So must I. I have one level 1 character who has keys, and have not bothered even looking into how to give keys to others =)

2) The ansi maps are so much prettier! So, this being said, I will be attaching maps here, and I hope others will do the same. Most of the maps I post to begin with are credited to Wardance, who knows how long he spent on them, but they rock!

First Attachment:
Pretty cool world-map for use outside Silvermere. Great general guide to give people a more satisfying global impression of the realm. (Wardance)

Second Attachment:
The orchard and cottages east of Silvermere. Since you can rent out keys, I wanted a way for users to find them easier without trying their keys in my door. It'd freak me out to hear a stranger using a key in my door... (Wardance)

Third Attachment:
I linked in the old abandoned mine shaft by searching under the cave bear. So Wardance was kind enough to make a quick map of it. (Wardance)

I look forward to adding more maps to my realm

Rhudar ansi map

You can rename it WCCMAP02.ans and put it in your WG folder and it will work in rhudar.

The western Silvermere map is beautiful =)

And I know, my western Silvermere is somewhat drab, I also have that "Up" room still there =P

You rock, Rotten. So does Wardance, but he never seems to visit the forums anymore =)

Do you think I should post maps of custom areas, too? Even though they aren't in other people's muds?

I did a map of the orc dojo, and it's not terrible. So I will probably post it later for the hell of it.

Most people probably don't have pablo draw though =P
