I got this email today concering majormud development.

Hello Dave, I just wanted to let you know that we are not doing any more development on Majormud at this time. My time has been allocated to other projects, and I am not expecting to be put back on Majormud development any time soon if at all. While I can't outright authorize 3rd party editing, it's not something we are focused on hunting down at this time. If people were editing, we would ask them to remove the edits if we did resume development and released more content.

In a way we already knew this, but from what I see the team was pulled off the mud development a long time ago to pursue better financial areas.

They will announce that they actually stopped working on MUD years ago!

I don't think there is anyone left who really cares what Metro is doing or not doing. The community is moving along with out them as it has been for some time now.

Did SouthernCross just post an email he received 10 years ago...?

I'm surprised Shannon still actually HAS a job at Metro. Hell I'm surprised Metro is still around.
