I just purchased some rims online, 2 18x10.5 and 2 18x8.5. It turns out that the rear rims have a clearance of about ½in and I was wondering if a ½in spacer would do the trick? Tires Plus ordered a 1 ½in spacer when I personally think is WAY too much and wanted to charge me an additional $139 for the honor... Does anyone happen to know where I can get some locally, Kansas City, without costing me 130 bux?¿?¿ WillieG

Boy oh boy, you stopped in the right place. If spacers are all you're looking for, i gotcha buck-o......Pepboys sells spacers in a few different sizes...They will have 1/2" in stock. I put a set on a gm myself. Check with some of your local parts stores. Spacers will be sold at those, and for about $6 a piece...
