Alright. I've done this before. It's been years though, and as I'm sill <20, that's quite a portion of my life. HOW the heck do I get it to display the experience next to the gang in my BBS?

EXP_IN_TOPGANG

Valid Values: 0 (means do not show exp)

1 (means show exp in topten)

Default Value: 0

Description:

When enabled, the experience associated with each gang will be

shown in the topten gangs listing.

in the sysop menu edit the ini file and put

EXP_IN_TOPGANG=1

ps if ya scrolled down a bit, you coulda saw this question been answered

Dude... I did it and that didn't work. I'll tell ya if it does it after cleanup (which it prolly will so I'll quit bitchin.)

After making any changes to the ini file you always have to reinit the bbs

"Sys reload"

if i remember correctly...

Just type "sys" in the game and you'll see it..look for "Reload settings from wccmmud.ini."

Heh, thats what I meant, sys reload or sys init will reinit the game, but sys init isnt as reliable, since if you reinitialized previously, it may not reinit again for some time

One last request... is there a place where I can find all of the features of this ini file? Like all the options?

Heh, for those of you who don't know the answer to this...its distributed with the game files. Of course there are those dopey sysops who download the files, setup their bbs and game, and then never bother to go thru all the files that they downloaded to see what they are. Of course, this would also negate half the usefulness of metros sysop forum. But, since alot of sysops are idiots, thats ok ;)

The file does not list many of the sys edit commands that metro uses in their debugging and beta testing. But, you can pretty much guess as to what each one of those do, if you have half a brain at least.

Although, I will be creating a nice list of them when mod9 is released and SOFaCY releases it to the public
