I'm not sure where the hermit is supposed to go, but evan (doormud programmer) last noted that the item he gives is "worthless". he also said that there are clues as to where his home is. the hermit talks about nomads, and there are only a couple nomad regen rooms, so I was going to check around those.

i'll do that next time he comes alive, since i have to kill burningman again soon to get those ethereal robes anyway.

it looks like the hermit only has about 30 life, so you gotta take care of him :P
