Phasing Out Telnet?? New Vista [Archive] - ForumsHQ

So I got the new Ultimate Vista today and come to find out they no longer include telnet.exe in the original install? :)



Are they finally starting to phase out old timers like us?



Anywho... Here is a link to download telnet.exe. Enjoy

Just save it in your c:\windows\system32\ directory

I'm running Vista Ultimate. Came with telnet.exe

Wierd must just be "MY" particular version or something.

no i noticed that too, it didn't come with the RTM release I got in early Dec.

in Control Panel > Programs and Features > "turn windows features on or off", do you have "telnet client" clicked on?
