recently while playing a rather graphically basic game, san andreas, i discovered that i was stuttering or hitching a lot. long story short i have deduced that the culprit was gmail. specifically the gmail actionscript seems to be causing the random stuttering or hitching. i'm not quite sure how or what actionscripts are. i seem to recall them very closely related javascript and then a mention of adobe flash play. my only concern is i have updated my adobe flash player recently. and can anyone out there confirm leaving firefox and a gmail account logged that is the cause of video game artifacts?

If i have gtalk open on the toolbar, not useing it, i get lag playin mud on my server and other servers i play on. Kill it and all is good.
