Just saw them last night, AWESOME show. There were four opening bands, the first one actually had the lead singer quit on them few days ago, but they came out and played anyways. Second band, I wasn't sure what to think when they setup the drumset in the corner, and then a 2nd drumset(including 2 bongos) on stage. But OMFG this band RULED. Ankla is the name, from S. America. I haven't had a chance to listen to the CD yet, but their live show was tight. My friends actually managed to get a pit started in the middle of the lifeless crowd, and it kept going 'til the set was done.

Third band I don't remember, because they UBERSUCKED, and the 4th band's (Silent Citizen? iirc) lead singer was formerly in Spineshank. They got everyone moving, and I actually made it into the pit for a song (6' - 140 lbs = not the best physicque to push the shit out of people).

Finally, nonpoint, and man did they put on a show. From the very first song EVERYONE in the place was jumping, and it continued for the next hour. Just some awesome energy in the place. I hadn't heard anything from them until a week ago when I borrowed the CD in anticipation of the show, but I recognized a lot of the songs from their first album, and they did just a phenomenal job.

Final verdict: 4/5 - Opening band was all instrumental, and the 3rd band on SUCKED MONKEY NUTS. Everything else was just what I want at a metal show.
