and, um, well....I had a crush on Optimus Prime when I was nine. I even carried around his trapper keeper.

Not a joke, haven't read much on it myself (enjoyed but wasn't all about them back in the day), but I have heard commercials that G4TV (formerly techtv) is going to be airing exlcusive footage during their broadcast from ComiCon. Not planning on watching, since I've never bought a comic in my life,unless Archie counts, and it's likely going to be like some 45 second clip that has 3 scenes previously seen, wiht one new one or something, but thought I'd pass along the info.

too bad it doesn't come out for a year, and by then, I won't be this enthused

Damn no shit. He looks like something out of Aliens part 8.

I was a huge fan of transformers.. my dad and i went to go see the animated movied back in the early 80's. This might be good and it might suck.... will have to wait to see a couple previews to get an idea.
