Well, I've come to realize that not all talents work (in my case, the one I dropped 4 points into does absolutely nothing. I know this because it's supposed to add an effect that is stackable, but nothing happens).



Unfortunately, none of the trainers offer the option to retrain talents. Is this something GM's are capable of, or are those talent points lost forever?

I put six talent points into something on Saturday, got a level, and they vanished, leaving me with one talent point and an empty talent. I forget what they were, though, would have to get home and check further.

I noticed during the time I played emulated servers that sometimes it appears as though your talent points disappear, but if you logout/exit and log back in they're back again, where you put them. May not be the case for Burning Chrome, but it's a possibility.

I've noticed that if you log into the game and something mysteriously isnt there or not working try relogging because thats usually an indication something isnt crossreferencing properly with the server, I see alot of that watching the console sometimes and I try to write down the reference numbers.

Level points as well as level abilities (example backstab or fireball) You can upgrade them but if you warp (fly, use a boat, Zeppelin, mage portal, or the warp stone) they may disappear and your stuck with the old one.

I wonder if it only does that if you switch zones before a world save?

ok I haven't logged in since Sunday so when I get home I'll try to log in and see if my talents are back.

Just a quick reassuring update: my talents are back. I guess if you log out and come back in they recognize as everyone said.
