Been listening to them for a few years now, one of those bands you kind of have to want to hear, because anyime my winamp hits one of their songs, I tend to change it. They really are talented, though, I'll give you that!

you know ari... I am the same way. When itunes is playing and mars comes on 99 % of the time I will change it. I have to be in a very weird mood in order to listen to them.

I loved their first CD, but frances the mute was bollucks, heh.

If you like TMV but find them at times "inaccessible" try out At the Drive-in or Sparta. When At the Drive-in broke up and its various members formed the other two groups.

I've listened to drive-in a few times, friend became obsessed with them for a month or three. Can't say I didn't like it, but haven't had a cd myself to listen to.
