Tradewinds WoW Install Instructions [Archive] - ForumsHQ

First off this walk-thru will by no means be complete at the time of writing it. I will explain the installation procedure as easily as possible in step by step order. Go to Http://wowtradewinds.dyndns.org:8088 and select Create Account to create a new account.
Step 1) Obtain your copy of WoW(the means by which you do so are not my business and I do not condone piracy so go buy a damn copy and I wont hold responsibility if you get a virus or it hoses your box) and install it. (
Step 2) After the successful installation you will need to update to 1.12.0 then to 1.12.1, this is nowhere near as hard as it was with Tradewinds Epsilon.
Step 3) Now go look for a tiny file called realmlist.wtf, open that and change the us.worldofwarcraft.com to wowtradewinds.dyndns.org, close and save.
Step 4) To play put in the user name and password you signed up with on our website with and it will ask you to choose a Continental Region check the one for US and after that click "Suggest realm" it will say "You have been assigneed to the New Avalon Server" select ok.
Step 5) Character creation: Choose your race, class physical deescriptions and when done click "Confirm". You may have up to i believe 6 characters total.
Final warning, if you play my server you cant play a legit server. I can only run version 1.12.1 or it wont let you on my server. So if you plan to play legit install on another machine or dont at all.
