Inspiron 9300 modded to XPS Gen 2 [Archive] - ForumsHQ

well with the arrival of my 130W XPS Gen 2 AC Adatper i have now completed the transformation from my Inspiron 9300 1.86GHz w/ GeForce Go 6800 vanilla 300/600 to the Dell Inspiron/XPS Gen 2 2.26GHz w/ GeForce Go 6800 Ultra 450/1064.
i had to borrow a 6cell battery to flash my system though. that was fun (not.)
anyways the performance is a little bit lower than i had expected, but who's complaining on a $50 total upgrade? :)
50FPS -> 75 FPS in Doom 3 @ 1440x900 HQ:
