What are some good game related movies? I've been in the mood to watch more of these lately because the stories are often better than other animated movies. By game related i mean movies like Jak X (jakxdvd.com if you haven't seen it yet) or movies like the Final Fantasy Movies, or even the animated Street Fighter movie.

That jak movie is really cool, I was able to grab one for cheap but its getting kinda hard to find, so that contest at the site u linked might be worth checking out. Its basically all 3 games made into a movie format but they did an excellent job editing it.

Yes, the first mortal combat WAS good. I think I went and saw that at a drive in when it came out. Oh the drive-in.. I miss them. They still have one in Denver, and in all the years I lived there I never went. What a shame! Personally, I prefer watching movies that are based (loosely or not) on a comic book/series.

Final Fantasy Advent Children was hot~ The story was kinda weaksauce, but the graphics are drop dead gorgeous.

Dude, that JakX dvd sounds sick. I'ma enter the contest. It goes on til the 30th of April, so I'ma hit up a couple of friends and see if they're down to enter too. There's a demo for JakX on that dvd too, so I'ma see what that game is like.

Silent Hill looks like it's going to be an awesome game related movie, too.

I didnt' know about the jak dvd. that is pretty cool. it's hard to find?? that's lame. I can't go to like target and get it? someone give me the 411 on where to buy this dvd. I know that new jak game coming out is gonna be real good. can't wait to get that. and I am pretty sure that won't be hard to find!

I will need to see mortal kombat, I also have, Dead or Alive and Street Fighter on my list. I just watched Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust last night and now I wish they would turn some Anime into video games. Imagine a vampire hunter d mmorpg, that would be amazing if done right.

The Jak DVD; I don't think you can buy it anywhre. The only place I've seen it is on that sweepstakes site for jakxdvd.com I entered it a while back but haven't heard anything yet. I will probably try and enter again with a new email address and use my little brothers name LOL.

Bump, has anyone else seen the Jak movie yet? I found out about the Shenmue movie but it's still a bit different than Jak, as it only shows the beginning. I would really like to know more about the movie.

I still haven't recieved a copy. The contest is over in two days, so who knows. I hope I win~ I want to see how they collected the story segments from the trilogy and put them in to one movie. Is it cohesive? Maybe daxter's narration is what holds it together? Should be interesting to watch.
