not sure, i would think so. As long as the comp that the server is on has its own ip addy, you should be able to telnet over the lan to it. I've never gotten my lan working properly to test it yet

I dont think it would work since you have a dhcp server within the network infrastucture handing out ip's. Most likely noone would be able to get past the firewall. It may work depending on how the company had the network set up!
