I started this thread for the purpose of giving everyone the best link out there to teach you how to obtain and take care of a pet in Ragnarok. I assume that in later stages of your pet there might be some bug/fixes we may need to find... and there will undoubtedly be issues on keeping your pet happy. Disscuss them in here. Ok, so I tried taming a Lunatic with a rainbow carrot, it only took me two tries to do so. Once tamed, it gave me an egg. I hatched the egg with the incubator... and voila, I had a lunatic pet following me around. But then BIG PROBLEM there is a bug in the pet system. Once you warp, or close the pet status window... you lose the pet window and the ability to reopen it. This is a major bug not allowing you to keep a pet. If you cannot open the window, you are unable to feed your pet. If you are unable to feed your pet, it runs away. So sorry, no sense in trying to get a pet.

Could be something that's fixed if you use the right version of the executables? Not sure if ya'll are still using the iRO files or not, but as I've posted elsewhere the kRO files seem to fix many of the problems I was having.

Yea but you cant tell what anything says

Well, like I PM'd ya...other server I'm on has TONS of text files in the data directory, and I believe it's these files that "translate" the game to english. Maybe copying a select few of these files would fix that issue?
