I've been doing some very light reading about other servers, and most seem to say that you must be using kRO (korean version). Now, some of these sites were year+ old posts, so I'm not sure if it's an issue. Just thought I'd put it out there.



I'm about to install kRO (if I can find it) and see if my computer can handle having both at the same time. :)

I'd be curious to know what your results are.

I can't manage to find a place that will allow me to download both of the 1gig files at faster than 3k/second. This may take a while.

Alright, found some torrent files for January 17ths release of kro and sakray for it. No clue how long it'll take, as my speeds are ranging from 1-100k/sec. Likely, it won't be before tomorrow morning when I get home from work, since I'll be heading to bed in an hour or two.

I have the new Korean version but I had diffuculty getting it to work with an updated mSakexe.

Check your PM's, I did send you another link I found. No idea if it'll help at all, tbh. There seems to be a mass of posts anywhere I'm going talking about problems updating this, that, and the other thing. I'm currently d/l'ing: RAG_SETUP0117.exe and SAK_SETUP0117.exe and hope that they'll allow me to connect to one of these other servers. I'll try connecting to Lunar as well, if it works, since I know a few of the places that have been having sprite errors (which I'm not sure is the cause, just seems to be the common problem for edited RO's).

Sprite errors is more often than not a major cause

Wow, both d/l's are pushing 130k now, though it'll still be to late for me to get started on it before bed. I definitely suggest getting the torrents rather than the other method I found, which is using a korean proxy and a dowload manager to get the files from the official site.

So, work called and told me to cut 2 hours tonight, so I've been messing around with the files. I installed kRO, and got it to update. Problem is, I can't install sakray, and it's all in korean so I can't exactly figure out why. Seing how I didn't need that to play on lunar's server, I went ahead and grabbed the file and loaded up, got it no problem, though again everything was in korean, including shop items and whatnot.



I'm going to post something on another board, see what they have to say when I wake up. My next character, though, has GOT to be called NOMSG!
