I keep getting this error:
Access violation. Attempt to read from: 256a01c
This happens only when people are in mud and causes a recovery and wg reset. Any ideas?

reinstall mud back up the user.dat gangs.dat shops. dat and bank.dat and item.dat reinstall and place these files back in...
maybe that mite work...

Ditto what cane said, however you might also consider maybe just reinstalling mud without backing anything up, sometimes that helps. BUT since I have never personally gotten this error I would honestly have no freggin clue as in the hell to do it. so do whatever there man! Just my 2 cents

i get this error when you go into a mod 1-9 room and you don't have the mods added, and that's the only time i got these. SO, ya might wanna add 'em

Are you trying to run dual muds? If thats the case and you have ROSE Council of Guardians installed that can cause some severe access violation issues.
