Ok as i havent had any responses to my earlier post i have another question..



Is it possible to initiate a smooth connection from wg nt into majorbbs



IE lets say i have two systems set up.. one being wg nt.. and one being majorbbs



wg nt being at 192.168.1.1

majorbbs being at 192.168.1.2



basically i wanna have it set up so that when someone telnets to my ip they login into the nt system.. but there would be an option on the nt games menu for a game on the mbbs system when that was selected i want the user to be logged into the mbbs system directly to the games menu on that bbs. without having to login with a user id and pw.. i know its possible but i dont know how to go about doing that without the dma server of majortcp/ip.. ive contacted vircom and they were of no help at all



ive been playing around with it.. set it to rlogin to the mbbs system but its still asking for a user id and pw before letting the user get into the mbbs system.. anyone know of another way to do this without the dma server of majortcp/ip ? i have 2 of the act codes for maj tcp ip 2.10e but not the 3rd for the dma server

Worldgroup seems to no problem with outgoing rlogin. It sends the user info like it's supposed to. However if you set it up to accept incoming rlogin connections and you rlogin in from another system then you still get a login prompt. If it doesn't accept the user info for the incoming rlogin connection then there isn't any point to rlogin, it's just like telnet at that point. So basically I was wondering if you'd ever checked that out in the code or if there would be a way to have it accept the user info for incoming rlogin so it would bypass asking for the persons username and password.
