Actually, they're called the Free and Accepted Masons. And moreso, you're way off about the Presidents. The Presidents that were Masons were (in order and I hope I don't forget anyone): Washington, Monroe, Jackson, Polk, Buchanan, Johnson, Garfield, McKinley, Teddy Roosevelt, Taft, Harding, FDR, Truman, and Ford. A *few* other presidents have either started and not finished becoming a mason, or are thought to be masons but really aren't.

I think they need to abandon this catastrophic legislation that could lead to many of those that pass it to be in the unemployment line come Novemeber. This is about freedom, not whether men and women should be able to inter-gender marriage. I've stated it before, but in the eyes of the government marriage is merely "a corporation" (for lack of a better analogy) in that you have similar rights as 2 people starting a corporation, with some exceptions. There is no religious correlation to marriage in the eyes of the government, as well there shouldn't be. If they start trying to dictate what sexual preference is acceptable and what is not, what will they start in on next? Will we be subjected to increased scrutiny in our personal lives by the government? There's more at stake and at issue than just what's on the headlines.
