I've been to Victoria Secret in LA, they allowed me to stay, well until I made a smartass remark, then this really big guy with no sense of humour, kindly asked (growled) me to leave..... Geeze no one has a sense of humour anymore...

Maybe it's because we did away with the 2nd u in humor during the middle ages. Now, everyone has a sense of humor. I realize the nuances are tiny, but it's relatively the same.

dictionary.com

Main Entry: hu·mor

Variant: or chiefly British hu·mour

being that I am Canadian, and under English influence, we still spell it under the true spelling which is H U M O U R, unlike our friends to the south, who spell everything phonetically, and generally incorrectly

I have a very good sense of humour ;)

well see... she isn't tiny.. and as far as you not knowing about bra sizing... well after reading my post.. you should know now

You're saying that 130 lbs is not "tiny" ? I think you should look more at the audience you're speaking with. I have no notion about the rest of the crowd, but although I am slightly obese, I am by no means "fat" looking and tip in at 230 lbs. So to me, 130 lbs would deffinately look "tiny" in comparison.

I said 130 wasn't tiny, I didn't say 130 was fat.

Well to be fair, I wasn't addressing an AUDIENCE.. nor trying to account for how other people would feel or what their views are on what is tiny and what is not.

When Panth describes a female as 5'2" 130 with a 40" bra band size that doesn't scream tiny to me. My sister is chunky, 5'3" and she is a 34. Either Panth's friend is extremely big boned (in which case there is no way in hell even losing weight would reduce her band size), she is triangle shaped (upside down for you boys who know nothing of womens bodies) and carries ALL of her weight there (in which case, if she lost weight she would reduce her band size), or Panth has the numbers wrong.

The simple fact of the matter isn't her weight... it is that of her band size. I am sorry but no one can be a 40" band and be tiny. They can be short, which we established she is, and they can have small arms or legs... but as well all know we aren't just heads stuck on top of arms and legs. The word tiny, usually is taken to mean not just ordinarily small... but more so.. such as "the infant's fingers were tiny." She is short, not tiny. Tiny is a comparison word, but not in the way that you used it. A Fiat is a 'tiny' car, because it is one of the smallest mass produced cars you can get. If you buy a "studio" house(also known in some parts as a shanty).. that is a 'tiny' house because it is one of the smallest types of houses you can get.

One question though, if you think this girl is tiny at 5'2" and 130... what am I, miniscule? I am just over 4'11" and 89 lbs... so comparing tiny to yourself doesn't work. You have to take from the "norm"... she is average, I am tiny.

I could have some of the number wrong, I aint never met a woman that gave the accurate number on weight.... Just like those magic words to which a man can never answer correctly "Honey do these pants make me look fat" I know she is 5'2 because she's same height as my mom, her weight, well she told me 130, but she's smaller than me and I aint obese, but I am heavy at 250... my 44 chest settled around my waist :( She aint big boned, because when we were kids she was skinny like a rail, then she started to fill out (around 10 or 11 she had a bigger chest than the other gurls).
